In this season, we are introducing Wuyi Cliff Tea (or yan cha), a renowned style of oolong tea from the Wuyi Mountains, in Fujian Province, China. Da Hong Pao and Tie Luo Han are two famous varieties of Wuyi Cliff Tea. These teas are known for their distinctive mineral-rich flavor, often called “rock rhyme” (yan yun), which comes from tea plants growing among the region’s rocky cliffs and mineral-rich soil.
