Dan Cong is an oolong tea from Guangdong province in China. It is always well known for the aroma, but a good one should be more complex than just the fragrance. These Dan Cong teas are great teas to enjoy on their own but would be more fun to compare and experience the differences in them.

Phoenix Dan Cong Yin Hua Xiang is known as duck shit aroma dan cong. Yin Hua Xiang means honeysuckle aroma. It has the name because this Dan Cong carries a sweet and smooth aroma of the honeysuckle flowers. It is also known as Duck Shit aroma. The farmer was so afraid others would steal this beautiful tea from him so he called this tea Duck Shit aroma, telling people that the soil that grew this tea looked like the color of duck waste. He was hoping the story would scare people away and yet it did not stop this tea from becoming more popular.

Dan Cong is always well known for the aroma, but a good one should be more complex than just the fragrance. Dan Cong is an oolong tea from Guangdong province in China. “Man Tang Xiang” means room filled with fragrance. This Dan Cong got the name because of the amazing fragrance when you brew the tea. Man Tang Xiang is very uncommon among Dan Cong. On top of that, this batch of Man Tang Xiang is only from old tea trees that are about 100 years old, which makes it even more special. The old trees in good growing environment gives the tea very luxurious flavors of the nature, along with amazing fragrance that fills in your mouth and the room!
