We are sending 3 spring harvest teas from Yunnan, China. The shipment we got from Yunnan, China was a little behind and finally it arrived! We would love to share some of these fresh teas with you!
Puerh is a very special tea only from Yunnan, China. Every spring we are getting some young raw (sheng) puerhs which look pretty close to green tea when it is young, and it becomes darker over time as it ages. In the past people usually didn't enjoy young raw puerh until it is more aged. Younger raw puerh can be a little more aggressive and quite bitter. It usually becomes smoother as it ages. Nowadays some raw puerhs are produced with very high quality material so that they are very enjoyable even at this young age. 2025 Manzhuan Raw Puerh is a vivacious tea with thick mouth feel and yet still feels refreshing. The tea starts with a little earthy vegetal taste, then changes to some fresh herbs and soft flowers like lavender, and gets a little like leather towards the end. The nuances of the whole tea session will remind you of the beautiful spring. Enjoy this tea slowly and savor the lingering in each steep.
Another tea that we have been getting from Yunnan every spring is our Yunnan Silver Needle. White tea lovers are usually familiar with silver needle, which is a very delicate white tea made with only young buds. Our silver needle is from Yunnan and made using only young buds from old trees, which makes the tea delicate and yet bolder than older ones. The tea is so delicious that you could taste creamy lemon, cantaloupe, and floral. You can enjoy it easily now and overtime.
The last tea is 2025 Wild Purple Bud. This wild purple bud tea is from the Big Snow Mountain in Yunnan. It has a delightful aroma of fresh wildflowers, citrus, eucalyptus and mint. The refreshing sensation is especially noticeable in the mouth and all the way down to the chest. The buds are hand-picked from camellia tea trees and then sun-dried. With the very minimal processing, it is giving you a unique flavor experience!
