This is a hand-thrown gaiwan with very elegant orchid painting on it. This series of gaiwan is our special commission from a pottery studio in South Korea. The artists, Shin Jung Hyun and Kim You Mi,  are tea enthusiasts and love to use gaiwan; that makes this gaiwan not only pretty to look at, but very functional at the same time. This has been one of the best gaiwan we have used.

Please take note that gaiwans are each hand-made, and can vary slightly in painting, size and shape.
