For over fifteen years, Scott Norton has been actively engaged in the sourcing, researching, and sharing of teas from China, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. He is a published writer and lecturer on the subject of tea from East Asia, most recently collaborating with the Guangdong-based artist collective Yangjiang Group for a six month-long tea gathering project in conjunction with the Guggenheim Museum’s 2016-2017 contemporary Chinese art exhibition Tales of Our Time. A practitioner of Chinese gong fu cha, Japanese chanoyu tea ceremony, and Korean method of brewing tea, Scott seeks to share tea and inspire others to do the same.
